  11. WARNING! Do not open the "BFile apl" or "SFile apl" Icons. These
  12. are chained programs that depend upon the "Bill's Casino" main program
  13. for library routines and graphics resources.  You must run the
  14. program by clicking on the "Bill's Casino" Icon.  Since the
  15. application files are chained, you cannot change the application
  16. names. You must have the application Icon's named; "Bill's Casino",
  17. "BFile apl","SFile apl","bas.rl" with the same spacing and use of caps.
  18. All the Icons must be in the same HFS folder to operate. 
  19. The "bas.rl" is the Complier Run Time Package and must be 
  20. in the same HFS folder or in the Systems Folder for the package to operate. 
  21. If you are using the old ROMs you can put the game icons anywhere. 
  22. You will also need a VENICE 14 Font in your systems file for the 
  23. text to print correctly. The program has been tested with the old and new 
  24. ROMs and on hard drives. It has not been tested on the 128K Mac.

  26. Bill's Casino was written by Derrell (Bill) Clark in Microsoft
  27. Basic 3.0 and Compiled on the Microsoft Basic Compiler.  All of the
  28. drawings were done in FullPaint and were put in a Resource file of
  29. the program for speed and to avoid extra files. Clear Lake
  30. Library (Microsoft Toolbox) routines were used to speed execution
  31. and save space. The game is in the Public Domain and first
  32. introduced on GEnie Feb. 87

  34. The large size of the program is due to the extensive use of
  35. graphics, which make the program special and fun to operate. Small
  36. children have used the program with little instruction. The
  37. extensive use of graphics and mouse interface makes it easy to learn.
  38. When you start the game a "Welcome to Bill's Casino" screen will appear.
  39. Click the mouse on the Slot Machine or Cards to select the game you want.
  40. When you open the Slots and Blackjack games check the Info menu item
  41. for specific instructions for each game.
